WebMar 27, 2007 · 5,851 Posts. #2 · Mar 21, 2007. smt's dont have slave cylinders. the mechanism that moves the clutch release fork is mechanical and the mechanism that moves that is hydraulic moved by a pump. so if your pump and or lines are leaking, then no, there is no rebuild kit, just new parts. if it ain't broke, it ain't a mr2. WebJan 18, 2024 · There is a rubber hose that leads from the slave hardline (that comes from the master). It is about a foot or so long. It is attached directly to the clutch slave cylinder. That would be the FIRST thing I would check as these line have been known to bulge and then rupture, causing the situation you describe.
