The engine will have to work a lot harder … WebJul 1, 2024 · I paid $600 for parts, $250/axle for labor, and $100 for fluid bringing me to $1200.00 out the door. $2K is high but as we all know EVERYTHING for the JK seems to be outlandishly high priced. $250 an axle is actually good and the shop you used was probably a Jeep specific shop or has done tons of re gears for Jeeps so they knew what it entailed.
