WebFirst Aid Response (FAR) is the first aid training course required by all Tusla registered Early Years services. It has been developed by the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) to enable participants to assess and manage patients until the emergency medical services arrive. FAR includes the full Cardiac First Response Community standard. WebThis Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) certified course has replaced the QQI/FETAC certified ‘Occupational First Aid’ course. It is recognised by the Health and Safety Authority as the required training for equipping workplace first aiders to deal with the most common medical emergencies.
